Splain retires, vacates No. 23 ride
It hit the garage area like a bomb even though rumors had spread already when the No. 23 team's hauler lot remained empty on Thursday morning at Pocono Raceway. On Friday, NEPA Motorsports announced that team owner and No. 23 Sirius Satellite Ford driver Tom Splain retires from racing immediately.

The clock is ticking and the inaugural 'Chase for the Championship' is getting closer in the eDimensional Cup Series. After this weekend's Pennsylvania 300 there will be only five more races for drivers to clinch a spot in the top-8 in driver points and with that a spot in the ten-race post-season.

Ricky Hardin: Biography
Ricky Hardin started racing at the ripe age of 13. As a young kid, with lots of talent as it was proven many times, he was able to practice and learn quickly. He started to race in a variety of leagues up til 2002, when he entered PNL racing competition and raced almost exclusively there. In 2003, he came to race in P-R-O-S.net and OLR. Meanwhile he go to know and met Tommy Olson who introduced him to Steel Horse Racing which was later taken over by David Gibson. In 2008 eventually he'll be driving the No. 21 Vision Sports Art Chevrolet in his rookie season. |
