Splain retires, vacates No. 23 ride
It hit the garage area like a bomb even though rumors had spread already when the No. 23 team's hauler lot remained empty on Thursday morning at Pocono Raceway. On Friday, NEPA Motorsports announced that team owner and No. 23 Sirius Satellite Ford driver Tom Splain retires from racing immediately.

The clock is ticking and the inaugural 'Chase for the Championship' is getting closer in the eDimensional Cup Series. After this weekend's Pennsylvania 300 there will be only five more races for drivers to clinch a spot in the top-8 in driver points and with that a spot in the ten-race post-season.

Danny Sanchez has raced for about 8 years got serveral victorys. In the league of STRL he has had huge success and gathered multiple wins.
In 2008 he made his eDimensional Cup Series debut in the Virginia 300 at Martinsville Speedway, when regular driver Dave Matson couldn't race and SH Racing's No. 09 team needed a driver.
Shortly after that, Sanchez started up his own one-car part-time organization, Sanchez Racing. With this organization, Sanchez drove a limited part-time schedule in 2008, receiving chassis and engines from SH Racing. |
