Splain retires, vacates No. 23 ride

It hit the garage area like a bomb even though rumors had spread already when the No. 23 team's hauler lot remained empty on Thursday morning at Pocono Raceway. On Friday, NEPA Motorsports announced that team owner and No. 23 Sirius Satellite Ford driver Tom Splain retires from racing immediately.

The clock is ticking and the inaugural 'Chase for the Championship' is getting closer in the eDimensional Cup Series. After this weekend's Pennsylvania 300 there will be only five more races for drivers to clinch a spot in the top-8 in driver points and with that a spot in the ten-race post-season.

Changyoun Kim: Biography

From 2001 through 2005, Changyoun Kim earned his ranks in korean racing circuits before coming to Stock Car racing in 2004. After a transition to the heavy and horsepowere-studded stock cars, he went on to get multiple wins in various racing series. Kim, who is the first South Korean to ever drive in a TASCOR eDimensional Cup Series race drives for fellow compatriot Hyogyun Bang, piloting the No. 64 LG Electronics Ford Fusion of Bang Racing.
