DOVER, Delaware -- Who will be first in the 'The First State'? This is the question of the weekend ahead as the eDimensional Cup Series visits Dover, Delaware - the historically first of all of the United States.

Changyoun Kim is the most recent winner at Dover. He won the 2007 fall race in front of Jeroen Anema.
And speaking of history, Changyoun Kim goes into the weekend once again as a heavy favorite, coming off his second straight win at Lowe's Motor Speedway and easily the biggest of his career in the Coca-Cola 350. Kim is the man to beat in the eDimensional Cup Series and looks to be the front runner for the 2008 championship.

Dover is the place where it all started for Kim as he got his very first of in the meantime seven Cup wins here last fall. He started from the pole and won the race in dominant fashion ahead of Jeroen Anema.

Anema had a rough finish at Charlotte last week, being involved in a nasty wreck with few laps to go, that put him out of the top-five and down to a seventh place finish. Still, he's a contender this season, but at the same time is also still looking for his first elusive win of the year.

John Higman Jr. had his career best finish - until a second place at Atlanta and a win at Talladega earlier this year - at Dover last fall, when he finished third. Higman Jr. will have to shake off some crappy luck that caught up with him at Charlotte last week, when the engine of his Toyota Camry let go right when he was running in the top-five.

David Topie was fourth at Dover last fall and hopes to get a good finish, solidifying his position for the 'Chase for the Championship' - the first in TASCOR history this year.

Another driver coming to Dover with a good record here is Normunds Sarma, driving NEPA Motorsports' No. 6 Allstate Ford Fusion. Sarma had a fifth place finish here last fall and hopes to repeat that this time around. Sarma has three top-ten in the last four starts but a 17th place DNF at Darlington a couple weeks ago.

Dover Internaional Speedway, also called the "Monster Mile" will once again honor its name this weekend, by demanding the best of man and machine. But it shouldn't be made the mistake not to mention tires. Tires will play a very important role as Goodyear will bring an very soft tire compound to the track, resulting in increased tire wear.

Carlos Costa, Tom Splain and Jeroen Anema will look for a good finish at Dover this weekend.
SimRacingLinks.COM meanwhile sponsors the SimRacingLinks.COM 200 event and has joined forces with TASCOR to promote the best online information and links resources for the common online racer. It is the first time SimRacingLinks.COM, a website operated by Steve Luvender, makes a sponsorship appearance in the highest level of competition in TASCOR.

"We're very proud to have SimRacingLinks.COM as the sponsor for the SimRacingLinks.COM 200 this weekend. Steve Luvender has been a great partner and we're happy to give the racers and fans an opportunity to learn about SimRacingLinks.COM - a very good place where people can find all kinds of things around Online Racing," a TASCOR spokes person said Friday.

The SimRacingLinks.COM 200 will go a distance of 200 laps and will go green shortly after 9 am ET on Saturday. It will be the 13th points race of the season. Going into the race, Changyoun Kim leads the point standings by 95 over Tom Splain and 104 points over Jeroen Anema.
