DAYTONA BEACH, Florida -- As part of a number of announcements on Friday, TASCOR and NaturalPoint® announced the Corvallis, Oregon based image tracking device manufacturer will sponsor the TASCOR SmartNAV™ Truck Series in 2007. The announcement has come the same day both partners have previously announced NaturalPoint's sponsorship of the TASCOR TrackIR™ Cup Series for next year.
"Obviously this is a great deal for everyone at TASCOR. With this extended sponsorship package we can make sure the level of attention and quality we will have in our top two divisions will also be present in the TASCOR SmartNAV™ Truck Series, " TASCOR President Ben Fischer said during the announcement.
"A lot of things have come a long way in a relatively short time. And we have to thank our great partners at NaturalPoint® for this deal to happen so smooth, " Fischer added.

The TASCOR SmartNAV™ Truck Series will get the kickoff to its inaugural season in 2007, with the season opening Florida Dodge Dealers 200 at Daytona International Speedway on February 16, 2007. The season will see a challenging 25-race schedule for the drivers, visiting tracks across the whole country.
As part of the announcement, NaturalPoint® announced the 2007 TASCOR SmartNAV™ Truck Series champion will receive a highly coveted SmartNAV™ 3 AT with Vector units amounting to $400.00.
An additional SmartNAV™ 3 AT with Vector unit will be given away in a SmartNAV™ sweepstakes program during the 2007 Season. All TASCOR members will be eligible for the sweepstakes. As TASCOR officials have said during the announcement, further details will be announced at a later time.
